Nothing encouraging about the weather this week. And This Too Shall Pass might be a good thing to keep in mind. Eventually, this late winter weather is going to be gone. Just don’t be looking for a departure any time this week. For now, Winter Storm Sage is here, like it or not. The only positive thing for us is we’re not on the east coast. Looks very much like a proper Nor’easter is going to be hitting there. They are looking at potential feet of snow. So…the only good thing is we’re dealing with inches – they could be forced to handle feet – of this cold miserable stuff.
Personally, there was another 3 1/2″ of it for me to have to shovel and clear away for critter feeding this morning. I can honestly say I am fed up to here with it all. Our temperatures are going to stay in the cold range some below freezing nights temps, at least through this week. Things could be so much worse. We’re not dealing with avalanches, flooding, blizzards…just chilly, inconvenient and non-cooperative for those of us trying hard to thing Spring weather. But, not all that bad in comparison to what some others have to contend with. Good enough, I guess.
