Monday, Jan. 9, 2023-SW Michigan- More Clouds Overhead
Currently 29 with an average wind from the S of 3 mph. Feels like 26 degrees. Dew Point 29, Barometer 30, Humidity 100%, Visibility 7 mi., Sunrise 8:13 am, Sunset 5:26 pm.
Mostly cloudy. High in the upper 30s. W winds 5-15 mph.
Mostly cloudy overnight with a 20% chance of snow showers possibly mixed with some freezing rain. Low around 30. SW winds 5-10 mph becoming SE.
Not only clouds but a chance for some snow mixed with freezing rain Tuesday and maybe Thursday. The hope is held out that we could perhaps see a sun-sighting on Saturday – but I’m not buying it. I think the sun, like the snow-bunnies, has fled to the south and doesn’t plan on migrating back into our area until maybe spring. Or maybe not even then. At any rate, anyone catching a glimpse of sunshine should alert everyone they can so everybody can share in the experience. It’s become such a rarity, such a novelty, that anticipation for such an event is running high. Be happy we aren’t getting the rain that’s causing such problems in California, but don’t feel bad about being envious of the sunshine lucky southern folk are getting. Alas….I readily admit to being weary of our gray-scale color scheme already. Color. I need color!
