Currently 66 degrees with an average wind from the S of 12 mph. Feels like 63 degrees. Dew Point 59, Barometer 29.63 & falling, Humidity 87%, Visibility 10 mi., Sunrise 7:03 am, Sunset 8:22 pm.

100% chance of thunderstorms – some heavy downpours likely especially in the afternoon hours. High 67 degrees. SSW winds 10-20 mph.

90% chance of overnight showers and thunderstorms. Low 37. SW winds 15-25 mph.

It was delightful this morning going out to feed the critters minus a jacket into comfortable temperatures. The wind hadn’t kicked up and it wasn’t raining – although the sky definitely looks like we’re heading into a rainy day. Why we’re only getting one decent temperature day at a time seems typical this year of a spring that has no intention of being spring. Tomorrow the temperature is already lower in the 50s and the entire next week will present us with only 40 degree days. Saturday probably only in the 30s. If you wanted to imagine a lousy spring season you couldn’t improve much on this one.  At any rate, I sure did enjoy this morning, even knowing that very likely storms are ahead of us today and tonight. Windows open, no jacket, even if it’s only temporary,  is better than not getting a break in the chilly weather at all.
