Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022-SW Michigan-Mild With Rain Today, Colder With Snow Tomorrow
Currently 46 with an average wind from the SSW of 9 mph. Feels like 43 degrees. Dew Point 33, Humidity 60%, Barometer 29.85, Visibility 9 mi., Sunrise 7:38 am, Sunset 6:14 pm.
90% chance of rain. High in the upper 40s. SW winds 15-25 with gusts to 45 mph.
Evening rain becomes a mix with snow. Snow accumulation 1″ or less. Low in the upper 20s. W winds 10-15 mph.
On the mild side today but be careful in the morning because roads, sidewalks, could be icy. This rain today is going to transition into much colder precipitation along the way tonight and become covered with snow tomorrow. How much snow? Once again, to me it looks as if we’re on the upper ridges of this storm system and to the south of us they will get a great deal more. For us? Maybe 2-4″, maybe less. And the temperatures will have dropped by tomorrow night back into the cruel side, quite cold. Enjoy today, wet as it will become, because we don’t get close to 50 degrees and rain all that much in February.
