Today will be lovely but at some time tomorrow the rainy season seems to be setting in and supposedly to last about 5 days. Should get out, even if it’s hot today, and store up the memory of the sun – at least enough to drag me through the rainy days ahead. At least the temperatures shouldn’t dip too low, should stay in the 70s someplace, so even though the days won’t be bright at least they should be fairly comfortable – if you like a bit of dampness with your comfort. I guess we’ll survive alright until the sun shines upon us again.

What a glorious summer day. Sunshine and 80 degrees. My kind of day!  Still unfortunately looking at a rain weekend – in fact it does sound as if Saturday through about next Wednesday will be dreary. So, as usual, we pay for the good with a bunch of not so much. That’s typical Michigan weather.

A lovely day, warming up properly for the month of June. The various greens of Michigan are out in their vivid glory now and with the brilliant blue of the sky as a background – wow! Our reward for managing to exist through another lousy winter. Thank you, Mother Nature.

The next 3 or 4 days are promising to be summer picture perfect. Of course, by the time the weekend rolls around it’s looking to fall all apart, but hey…things can change. I’m hoping so. Would be lovely to have a weekend continuing the weeks sunshine and warmth.

Okay, so today, too chilly for me but tomorrow the temperatures begin to climb and by Friday we should be near 90. Yup! Summer is on the way back. Of course, as of now, they’re talking about a rainy weekend, next go around, but we’ll see. Things change. Who knows by next Saturday what we’ll be getting.

It’s a pretty day but quite cool yet this morning. Not feeling like June yet. Should be back in the 80s in a couple of days. I’ll be much more comfortable then.

This certainly doesn’t feel much like June. Chilly enough not to want to haul out of bed this morning. It will warm up again, but not soon enough for me. It’s a pretty morning, but like I said, too cool for the month of June.

Looking toward a couple of days with highs in the 60s, then a few in the 70s, then finally back into the 80s. The storm system that swept through really did a number on our Summer heat. But never fear, it will return. Can’t wait.

No damage in my immediate area, but plenty of wind damage here and there in SW Michigan as a strong system blew through taking away about 20 degrees from our daytime temperatures. Rain, a little thunder/lightening…but mostly wind. Feels almost cool enough for a sweater this morning. It really isn’t but SO much chillier than yesterday. Looks like it won’t be back approaching the 80 degree mark again until around next Wednesday or so. A handful of 60 degrees, some 70s and then we’ll be back where we belong.

Caught the picture of what appears to be an arrow in the sky yesterday as if Mother Nature was actively pointing out the direction for the remnants of what once was Tropical Storm Cristobal to clear on out of the USA and head on in to Canada.

We did have plenty of rain overnight but unless I managed to miss it all, I never did hear any thunder or see lightening brightening up our night sky. Seemed windy from time to time but that seemed to be the extent of what Cristobal brought to my area. That was enough.
