Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024-SW Michigan-Watch For Evening Freezing Rain
Currently 18 with an average wind from the NE of 5 mph. Feels like 9 mph. Dew Point 17, Barometer 30.66, Humidity 95%, Visibility 10 mi., Sunrise 8:06 am, Sunset 5:08 pm.
Partly cloudy becoming mostly cloudy. High in the lower 30s. E winds 5-15 mph with gusts to around 25.
100% chance of a mix of rain and freezing rain – changing to all rain overnight. Low in the upper 20s. SE winds 10-15 mph with gusts to around 25.
Today should be clear but be cautious later today and into the evening hours. Roads could get slippery with freezing rain falling before turning to all rain. Or, at least that is hope, that it becomes plain rain and not of the freezing variety during the night. At any rate, be careful early tonight and early tomorrow as not certain what you could be driving on. Fairly comfortable temperatures this week before falling back into the 20s next weekend. This coming Monday could even find us in the upper 40s. Only one day of it, but hey…we’ll take what we can get as far as a break from winter’s coldest.
