Some nice days on the way – tomorrow though Tuesday – with temperatures back into the 70s. Looking forward to that. Next Wednesday it ends with some cold rain and falling temperatures so I reckon the thing to do is get out there and take advantage of it.
With every breeze the trees are already letting loose of their leaves where they end up flying through the air like flocks of tiny birds. My parking lot is loaded with them where they’ve decided to land and die. For as pretty as the leaves look still attached to the trees, they quickly loose their appeal on the ground. There they turn brown and become merely a task that not too many people look forward to. Raking leaves is a lot of work. But there it is, that time of year. And bottom line, raking is less work than shoveling snow which unfortunately comes next. So grab that rake and have at it while the weather is still pleasant.
