Friday, Oct. 7, 2022-SW Michigan-Chilly Weekend Coming Up
Currently 40 with an average wind from the SSW of 8 mph. Feels like 34 degrees. Dew Point 35, Barometer 30.22, Humidity 81%, Visibility 10 mi., Sunrise 7:46 am, Sunset 7:13 pm.
Mostly sunny with a high in the lower 50s. N winds 5-15 mph with gusts to around 30.
Partly cloudy tonight with areas of frost. Low in the mid 30s. Light winds becoming SW 10 mph.
Should be a pleasant weekend but rather on the cool side. There is a possibility of seeing another 70-degree day next week – maybe Tuesday? But don’t be looking for many of them because they are mostly a thing of the seasonal past for now. More mentions of frost showing up with our nights often dropping down into the 30-degree range. This will become more prevalent as our nighttime temps continue the downward slide into just plain old freezing. Coming to our area before we know it. And before we need or want it. Not much to be done about it beyond replacing your furnace filter, caulking those windows and in general preparing for a Michigan winter right on the horizon. But for now, a pleasant but coolish weekend is to be ours.
