Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018 South West Michigan – First Mention Of Snow Showers

Currently 44 with a W wind of 11 mph. Feels like 40 degrees. Dew Point 39, Humidity 81%, Barometer 29.76, Visibility 10 mi., Sunrise 8:01am, Sunset 6:51pm. Windy. Overcast with a 50% chance of rain showers, some snow could mix in. High 47. NW winds 20 -30 mph.

Partly cloudy tonight with the possibility of a rain shower with wet snow mixed in. Low 31, NW winds 10 -20 mph.

Yikes! I purely do hate that ugly S word. And definitely do not like hearing that some snow could mix in with the rain late this afternoon or early evening. Seems awfully early, but that Cold Front swooping through is bringing that possibility. I am holding tight to the NOAA forecast of a slightly dryer, warmer winter for my area. That may or may not come about and even if it does, there will be, we know full well, plenty of bitter cold, ice and snow mixed in there. Michigan winter is not the tropics, let’s just put it that way :>)
