Nice seeing the sun but wish it was a tad warmer. No worries, that warmth will come around in a few days – along with some more rain. Looks like the possibility of a bit of rain on Friday, definitely rain for Saturday, Sunday and Monday. But hey – looks like Tuesday will be a dry day for a change. That’s refreshing to see the pattern changed. In the meantime, enjoy the sunny skies today.

An unusual sound last night when the tornado siren sounded. Not heard around here often. Haven’t heard of any damaged but the storm ushered in more cold weather. Tonight there is a freeze warning in effect. I think we’ve had about enough of this cold weather. Of course, I’m not in charge otherwise we’d be nestled in the upper 70s. Not going to be the case. At least not for today. And although we have a wet week coming, at least it’s going to be much warmer. In fact on Sunday, in addition to rain, we could see not only upper 70s but even an 80 degree day. We’ll take it. The rain isn’t nearly as bad when the temperatures are comfortable.

A gloomy day with a good chance of some rain later on today. Maybe some rain tonight, too.  Then we are destined to get some sunshine for the next couple of days. Well…before more rain moves back in. I guess we simply have to appreciate the sunny days when we do get them. And we do get them, once in awhile. Just not today.

Pretty good chance of some rain tomorrow, then we have a couple of days with a break in precipitation. Won’t last though because it looks very much like every day after that for the following week will have rain in it. Nothing we can do about it I reckon. Plan indoor chores? I guess the plus would be the temperatures will be a bit warmer. That’s something.

This is a miserable chilly Saturday. And the thought that there could possibly be stray snow flakes flipping about is crazy. Things will begin to warm up a bit once we get past this weekend, but this is not fun.  March was not nice and so far April is not playing nice either. When will this start to get right? Hopefully soon. We’ve certainly waited long enough.

Pretty weather with charming blue skies. But our temperature is not nudging up to where it feels warm. Look for this kind of weather to continue to about Tuesday, where we can usually count on rain. Again this week, too. Sort of a steadfast pattern. One we can live with but can’t help wishing for a bit more warmth. I’ve heard it said that this could be an unusually warm summer and if that does come around, I reckon we’ll be wishing we were back in this cool pattern. But as far as predicting the coming summer, we’ll just have to see what comes around.

Not a bad morning but it’s determined to deteriorate later on. Rain moving in which will hang around overnight. Could hear some thunder during the night rain. Clearing up tomorrow but likely we’ll end up with some wind to move things around a bit. Still appears to be a dry weekend. Cool but dry. Oh well, half of what we’d like is better than nothing. Could be cold and rainy – or the way this spring has gone – cold with snow. So we’ll take what’s really coming and be satisfied.

Didn’t get the storms or wind predicted for yesterday, last night. Not here in my area. But there does seem to be a fairly strong risk of possible severe storms today. The sky certainly looks different than yesterday, like it would be no effort to work up some severe weather. Be alert just in case.

Still looking for a dry but cool weekend coming up. Still waiting for steady warm temperatures to settle in and stay. It’ll happen but it sure is taking time.

Some clouds may start to show up later today along with the wind coming in. I believe there is a fire damage alert out today because of dry conditions and way too much wind. Things should at least get dampened down good after tonight an tomorrow. But that wind will remain with us for a bit. Next weekend still looking like a sunny one, but much cooler than the last. Our typical ups and downs. At least heading in the right direction to warmer weather.
