Thursday June 29 Southwest Michigan – Drying Out From Overnight Rain

Currently 67 with a WWS wind of 13 mph not making any difference so that it feels like the 67 degrees it is. Dew Point 64, Humidity 90%, Barometer 29.74 & rising, Visibility 10 mi. Cloudy with a possibility of a stray shower or thunderstorms. High 81. WSW winds 15 – 25 mph.

60% chance of overnight rain. Low 66. SW winds 10 – 20 mph.

Got a little over an inch of rain last night and more coming tonight/tomorrow. Looks like things will be fairly well dampened down around here before the 4th of July onslaught of wild fireworks. Don’t get me wrong, I love the sight and sound of them, but what I don’t like is the airhead person often behind firing them off who doesn’t seem to have a care in the world beyond lighting that fuse. That’s a big problem. Too many of them, every year. Maybe this year someone wiser will hide their matches and lighters. You think? No, me neither. Alas….
